  • Sidewalk and Curbing work is scheduled to take place in the following areas (for the week of September 14 - 18):
    o Weymouth Street, between Grafton Street and Sydney Street;
    o Richmond Street, between Pownal Street and Queen Street;
    o Kent Street, between West Street and Rochford Street;
    o Dorchester Street, between Haviland Street and Pownal Street;
    o Arcona Drive, between Pope Avenue and Messer Avenue;
    o Messer Avenue, between Arcona Drive and Yorkshire Drive.

  • Work will be taking place on Beach Grove Road, from the corner of Maypoint Road towards the Beach Grove Home. Traffic may be reduced to one lane alternating throughout the day. These delays are necessary for the construction of the active pathway along Beach Grove Road that will connect to a trail near the Beach Grove Home. This work is expected to be ongoing for the next several weeks.

  • UPEI road extension work will be taking place for the week September 14 - 18. This work consists of the expansion of the University Avenue and Enman Crescent (south) intersection, including the widening of the roadway and work on the median. Only minor traffic delays are expected and traffic control personnel will be on site. Pedestrians are advised to use the sidewalk on the UPEI side of University Avenue as heavy equipment will be on the opposite side of the road relocating the sidewalk.

  • The public is advised that Utility repairs are scheduled to take place Thursday, September 17, beginning at 7:30 p.m. This work will affect customers on Kent Street between Rochford Street to 58 Kent Street, Rochford Street from Kent Street to Grafton Street. This work is expected to take place through the night and be complete in the morning of Friday, September 18. Customers in this area may experience water disruption, as well as discoloration when the service is turned back on. Customers that experience water disruption are advised to flush lines for 10 minutes when service returns, or until the water runs clear.

    Motorists are advised that Kent Street, between Rochford Street and Pownal Street, will be closed to through traffic, from 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 17, until the morning of Friday, September 18.
