Members of the public can still drop off payments and other documents, such as planning applications and tender documents, in the drop box located inside the front door of City Hall.
Where possible, residents are encouraged to use online municipal resources and tools available at
charlottetown.ca. The main switchboard (902.566.5548) will also continue to assist residents and can help direct questions to the appropriate department. The full staff directory by department is available online at
charlottetown.ca/contact_us.
Public access will continue to be restricted at the following municipal facilities:
• Charlottetown Wastewater Treatment Plant (18 Riverside Drive)
• City Hall (199 Queen Street)
• City Works Garage (MacAleer Drive)
• Fire Stations 1 and 2 (Kent Street and St. Peter’s Road)
• Planning and Heritage Office (70 Kent Street)
• Police Services Building and Community Room (10 Kirkwood Drive)
Additionally, all City-owned facilities such as arenas and community centers will remain closed until at least Monday, January 10.
Residents are encouraged to continue practicing social distancing and keep two meters of distance when out in public. This includes parks, playgrounds and other public areas.
