Winter Lights

Charlottetown Continues to Glow Throughout the Winter Season
Posted on 01/12/2022
Thousands of lights will help brighten the city until early March

The City of Charlottetown, along with downtown partners, will once again help light the night to encourage residents to explore the city throughout the winter season. Beginning this week, holiday festive lights and décor are being transitioned to winter lights and will help the city continue to glow.

Lights, especially during the winter season, add warmth and excitement to the city. They are a beautiful invitation that inspire residents to get outside and explore all the city has to offer. To participate, residents and businesses can consider keeping up their existing holiday lights or transitioning to winter installations.

The city is currently working on several Winter Lights programming initiatives which will be announced in the coming weeks on the City’s social media channels. Exciting winter programming will also once again be offered through the Jack Frost presents ICE CITY Festival taking place February 4 to March 6. Information on ICE CITY can be found at discovercharlottetown.com/icecity.
