Overnight Parking Restrictions in Place

Overnight Parking Restrictions Begin November 15
Posted on 11/08/2022
The City of Charlottetown would like to remind residents of the overnight on-street parking restrictions that will be in place beginning November 15, 2022, until April 15, 2023. The restriction prohibits parking on all municipal roads between the hours of 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. Vehicles parked on municipal roads during the restricted hours may be issued a parking ticket and/or towed at the owner’s expense.

The overnight parking restrictions also apply to those with Residential Parking Permits. Permit holders are responsible for ensuring they have access to alternate off-street parking while the seasonal restrictions are in place.

Residents are encouraged to subscribe to the City of Charlottetown’s Alert System to receive notifications related to the City’s de-icing and snow clearing efforts. Registrants can choose how they receive messages – via phone, text or email – and can opt out of the service at any time.
