The City of Charlottetown’s annual historic, pop-up exhibit is now open for the holiday season.
The City, in partnership with the Prince Edward Island Regiment Museum and the Prince Edward Island Museum & Heritage Foundation, has created a new display – entitled ‘Happy Holidays’ – featuring vintage and handmade toys, historic photographs, holiday cards and holiday decorations from bygone days.
The exhibit is located on the first floor of the Confederation Court Mall and will be available for viewing during regular mall hours until January 6, 2023.
The City of Charlottetown and the Prince Edward Island Regiment Museum would like to thank the Confederation Court Mall for providing the exhibit space and all the individuals and organisations – particularly the PEI Museum & Heritage Foundation – who generously contributed pieces to the exhibit.
For information on how to donate historic photos, or to permit the City to scan your historic images, please contact the Planning and Heritage Department at 902-629-4051 or
