Passmore Street Reconstruction

On Friday, June 30, street reconstruction will begin on Passmore Street with the milling of the asphalt roadway. Beginning Tuesday, July 4, Passmore Street from Queen Street to University Avenue will be closed to through traffic. Access will be maintained for local traffic.
Traffic on Queen Street and University Avenue may be temporarily impacted through the summer when the work reaches those intersections. Traffic control personnel will be on-site to direct traffic, and detour signs will be posted as needed.
The project will replace underground utilities (water, sewer, storm), sidewalks, and the road surface and is expected to be completed in October.
