Wintertide Holiday Festival

November 20, 2020 - January 3, 2021

The 2020 Wintertide Holiday Festival features a collection of many seasonal celebrations, events, and recreational activities being coordinated by the City of Charlottetown, community organizations, and residents during the Holiday Season for all to enjoy, including a number of signature celebrations. A calendar of activities will once again be available leading up to the Festival and thousands of festive lights will continue to illuminate the Capital.

In a traditional year, the Wintertide Holiday Festival would kick off with the Official Tree Lighting. While the tree will still be lit, an official ceremony will not take place due to COVID-19 gathering restrictions.

The City's annual Christmas Concerts, in support of the Salvation Army Christmas Kettle, will take place November 28 and 29 at the Confederation Centre of the Arts’ Homburg Theatre. One-hour concerts - John Gracie's Once Upon a Christmas Tour and A Christmas to Remember - will both be held each day with seating for 300 available at each concert. Free tickets will be available starting on Friday, November 13. Check back for more detailed information in November.
