City of Charlottetown residents are invited to show their national pride and participate in Canada Day by decorating their homes for a chance to win awesome prizes.
Participants must be residents of Charlottetown and can register online at: www.charlottetown.ca/CanadaDay. Registration will close on Monday, June 28 at 8 a.m. Entries will be judged on June 29 and 30, with prizes being awarded during the week of July 5.
All entries will be judged in the Best Overall category and will also have the option to be considered in the Kids’ Choice and Eco-Friendly categories. Entries in the Eco-Friendly category must use sustainable materials and decorations that incorporate renewable energy as much as possible, while not using any single-use plastics.
Prizing will be awarded for the top three entries in the Best Overall category, as well as the top entry in the Kids’ Choice and Eco-Friendly categories. Prizing will consist of a curated selection of gift cards and goods from local retailers.
