Charlottetown Community Contest Announced

City of Charlottetown residents are invited to show how they celebrate summer in Charlottetown by sharing photos on social media to win exciting prizes.

Starting Monday, July 12, 2021 residents can enter by posting a photo on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter with the hashtag #CharlottetownCommunity in response to a weekly theme.

The weekly themes will be announced every Monday at 10 a.m. for five weeks (beginning Monday, July 12, 2021) on the City of Charlottetown’s Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages, along with a sneak preview of that week’s prizes.

Each photo with the #CharlottetownCommunity hashtag will be entered to win a weekly prize. The winner will be selected at random on the following Monday. All entries submitted will be included in a final grand prize draw in August. In order to encourage all residents to apply, winners will be selected at random; no professional photo equipment or experience is required.

Residents are permitted one entry per week, per person (for a total of five weekly entries for the grand prize draw). Participants must be residents of Charlottetown and must be able to pick up their prizes at City Hall (199 Queen Street). All winners will be asked to provide proof of residence in Charlottetown.
