Nominations for the Mayor’s Citizen Recognition Awards are now open to the public. The awards, which are open to residents of Charlottetown, will be announced virtually on July 30. The deadline for submitting a nomination is Friday, July 9.

The Mayor’s Citizen Awards are open to the public for nominations and three residents will be awarded with this honor. The Forbes Kennedy Volunteer of the Year Award will also be presented to one resident. These awards recognize extraordinary Charlottetown residents that go above and beyond to impact the people and community around them positively.

Nomination forms can be picked up at the reception desk at City Hall (199 Queen Street) or completed online at: www.charlottetown.ca/mayor___council/city_council/citizen_recognition_awards_nomination_form.

Nominations must be received by 4 p.m. on Friday, July 9. Forms can be dropped off at City Hall, emailed to [email protected], submitted online or mailed to: Citizen Recognition 2021 c/o Mayor’s Office, PO Box 98, Charlottetown, PE C1A 7K2.
