The deadline is fast approaching for entries into the City of Charlottetown’s 21st annual Christmas Parade. Applications are being accepted until Friday, November 15.

The parade will take place at 5 p.m. on Saturday, November 30. Beginning at 4:30 p.m., the Upper Room Hospitality Ministry food bank will be collecting non-perishable food items along the parade route. Children are also encouraged to bring their letters for Santa to be collected by Canada Post employees.

The parade is a fun-filled evening event with festive lights and music. The first 100 entries that meet the requirements are accepted into the parade. There is no entry fee.

The application form is available online. It’s also available at City Hall at 199 Queen Street or by calling 902-566-5548.

Completed applications can be returned via email to Charlotte Nicholson or dropped off in person at City Hall.

Participants are reminded to heed the instructions from parade organizers, security, and police to make this a safe and fun event for all.
