The City of Charlottetown and Charlottetown Police Services are reminding motorists to be extra vigilant when travelling tomorrow (Thursday, October 31). Slow down and watch out for those excited ghosts, goblins, monsters and Disney characters who will be out trick-or-treating.

City police will be out conducting extra patrols on Halloween night, while some officers will be on candy duty with members of the Holland College Hurricanes.

Ensure children are accompanied by an adult or travel in groups while going door-to-door and costumes are bright and reflective. Keep your family and friends safe by checking over your treats before consuming, and please adhere to the 8 p.m. curfew for trick-or-treating.

Happy Halloween!
