Overnight Parking Restrictions in Place

Overnight Parking Restrictions in Place Until April 15
Posted on 11/30/2023
The City of Charlottetown reminds residents of the overnight on-street parking restrictions that are now in place until April 15, 2024.

The restrictions prohibit parking on all municipal roads between the hours of 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. Vehicles parked on municipal roads during the restricted hours may be issued a parking ticket and/or towed at the owner’s expense.

The overnight parking restrictions also apply to those with residential parking permits. Permit holders are responsible for ensuring they have access to alternate off-street parking while the seasonal restrictions are in place.

Residents are encouraged to subscribe to the City of Charlottetown’s Alert System to receive notifications related to the city’s de-icing and snow clearing efforts. Registrants can choose how they receive messages – via phone, text or email – and can opt out of the service at any time.
