City of Charlottetown Partners with The PEI Regiment Museum for Pop-up Exhibit
Posted on 12/21/2020
The City of Charlottetown has partnered with The Prince Edward Island Regiment Museum to create a pop-up historic exhibit entitled Happy Holidays, which celebrates the festive season. The display is located on the first floor of the Confederation Court Mall.

City Staff have included selections from the City of Charlottetown Archives, The Prince Edward Island Regiment Museum and the PEI Museum and Heritage Foundation provided items from their collections of holiday postcards and artefacts to create the exhibit. Among the wide variety of items on display are historic photos of holiday seasons past in the City, an array of postcards from soldiers written home during the First and Second World Wars and vintage toys.

The City of Charlottetown and The Prince Edward Island Regiment Museum would like to thank the Confederation Court Mall for donating space, and all the individuals who have generously contributed materials to make this exhibit possible. It is through these donations that we learn about our past and share the knowledge with the public. For more information on donating photos or allowing us to scan images, please contact the Planning and Heritage Department at 902-629-4051 or [email protected] .

The exhibit will be available during mall hours. Consult the Confederation Mall Website for updated information.
