Traffic Advisory: Works Begin on Fitzroy Street Parkade Facade

Work to install the Fitzroy Street Parkade façade begins Jan. 23, 2023 and will have varying impact on traffic in the surrounding areas for up to two weeks.
Beginning on Monday, Jan. 23, the sidewalk on Kent Street from Great George Street to Prince Street will be closed for two weeks to permit the installation of the Fitzroy Street Parkade façade. Signage will be in place to direct pedestrians around the construction zone.
Traffic on Kent Street between Great George Street to Prince Street will be down to one lane from 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., beginning Tuesday, Jan. 24, finishing Thursday, Jan. 27.
The Public Works Department apologizes for any inconvenience and thanks the public for their patience and cooperation as the work progresses.
