The City of Charlottetown is hosting an open house to gather public feedback on the future development of University Avenue from Euston St. to Belvedere Ave.
What: University Avenue Master Traffic Plan
Where: 2nd floor City Hall, 199 Queen St.
When: Tuesday, January 31, 2023
Time: 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
This traffic plan will improve safety for pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers and will encourage active transportation use with the installation of a multi-use pathway, connecting to the existing Confederation trail. It will also manage the recent increases in traffic by improving traffic flows. The City also plans to improve the streetscape with grass medians, trees, street lighting and other streetscape infrastructure.
Residents are invited to have their say on this section of the roadway as their thoughts and insights will be used to shape the plan.
