Victoria Park Active Transportation Pathway (Cycling Lane) to Open Thursday
Posted on 03/29/2021
The Victoria Park Cycling Lane will be open for the season beginning at 12 p.m. (noon) on Thursday, April 1 as an active transportation pathway. The early opening of this interior lane will provide residents with additional spaces for outdoor activities in areas that allow for physical distancing. Anyone using this pathway is asked to be conscious of others, reduce speed if cycling, and continue to maintain the minimum two metres (six feet) of physical distance from others. The pathway will remain open until October 31.

Vehicular traffic will be permitted to travel one way through the Park via the outside lane closest to the water.

The City of Charlottetown would also like to inform the public that Victoria Row between Queen Street and Great George Street is scheduled to open to pedestrians beginning Saturday, May 1st, 2021.
