This may just look like fallen log covered in moss...cause it is, but there are some many things this log supplies to the things around it.
A shelter for small mammals and birds, amphibians, insects and other invertebrates.
Food for various living things.
Nutrients for plants as it decomposes.
A place for mosses, fungi and seedlings to grow.
Rotting logs enhance the quality of a habitat!
