New Community Garden - J. Frank MacAulay Park

New Community Garden Information Session

A community group is working with the City of Charlottetown and Immigrant & Refugee Services Association (IRSA) PEI in hopes of starting a new community garden in Charlottetown with the proposed location of J. Frank MacAulay Park!

This project intends to expand the current gardening initiatives in the park and will bring members of the neighbourhood together to grow food and get to know one another.

Join us at the Murchison Centre (17 St Pius X Ave.) on Tuesday, July 26 at 7pm to learn more about the proposed project and how community gardens benefit neighbourhoods, the City's work to support community gardens, and to express your support or concerns. There will also be opportunities to learn how you can get involved.

A short presentation will begin at 7pm followed by a Q&A with the community group involved as well as City staff and Councillors.

Register below to save your spot at the information session!

If you're unable to attend the information session, please feel free to fill out this comment form to ask us your questions or let us know you'd like to get involved.
