Volunteers planting trees
River Ridge Park

River Ridge Park is being transformed through an exciting planting project, and we’d love for you to be part of it! Join City staff in planting over 200 trees and shrubs as two  mini forested areas within the park are created.

This is a free community planting event, and all are welcome to attend—no registration required! This event is made possible thanks to the generous funding received through Green Communities Canada.

Date: June 20, 2026
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Location: River Ridge Park (main entrance between 78 and 82 River Ridge Drive)

On-street parking is available along the park’s perimeter (River Ridge Rd, Deep River Dr, Longboat Dr, and Seapine Ct)
