The City of Charlottetown is encouraging residents to get active and explore the city during Bike Week 2026, taking place June 8 to 14. The week-long celebration will feature a series of community events and activities that promote cycling as a healthy, affordable, and sustainable form of transportation.
Residents of all ages and experience levels are invited to take part in activities that highlight the benefits of active transportation and the continued work underway to build a more bike-friendly capital area.
Bike Week celebrations will feature a lesson on commuting by bike in Charlottetown, a bike tour of Wright’s Creek with the Charlottetown Area Watershed Association, guided group rides through different parts of the city, the annual Mayor’s Ride, as well as celebrations with each of our Bike Bus schools.

Residents are encouraged to take advantage of opportunities to connect with local biking advocates and explore healthier, more sustainable ways to travel around Charlottetown.
