Exhibition Drive Reconstruction Project Underway

The City of Charlottetown reminds residents that major reconstruction
work is currently underway on Exhibition Drive and will continue throughout the
summer and early fall.
The project includes significant upgrades to underground water, sanitary sewer, and stormwater infrastructure, as well as new pavement, curbs, landscaping, and the construction of a new multi-use pathway along the north side of the street. This important investment will improve infrastructure reliability, safety, and
accessibility in the area for years to come.
To accommodate construction, Exhibition Drive is operating as a one-way street
eastbound from Kensington Road to Riverside Drive. Access to businesses and properties along Exhibition Drive will be maintained throughout the project, and all businesses remain open during construction.
Motorists travelling through the area should expect delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes whenever possible if they do not need to access businesses or properties on Exhibition Drive. Drivers are asked to follow all posted signage and traffic control measures.
The City will continue to provide regular construction updates through its website and social media channels as work progresses.
