Cinema Under the Stars is back, bringing three nights of free outdoor movies to the Victoria Park Cultural Pavilion from Sept. 3 to 5.
“Cinema Under the Stars is a summer tradition that residents look forward to every year,” said Councillor Terry Bernard, Chair of the Economic, Tourism and Cultural Development Committee. “Free community events like this encourage people to get outside, enjoy our parks and spend time with family, friends and neighbours before the summer comes to a close.”
This year’s movie lineup brings a mix of fashion, action and fun:

Thursday, Sept. 3 – Devil Wears Prada 2 (PG-13)
A powerful magazine editor faces a changing fashion industry while clashing with her former assistant, now a leading luxury advertising executive. Filled with sharp humor, high-stakes rivalries and plenty of designer style.

Friday, Sept. 4 – Superman (PG-13)
As public scrutiny grows and a powerful enemy emerges, Superman must prove that hope, courage and compassion still matter. Filled with action and heart, Superman delivers a fresh take on this iconic hero.

Saturday, Sept. 5 – Hoppers (PG)
When an animal-loving student uses new technology to communicate with wildlife, she uncovers a threat to their habitat and sets out to make a difference. Filled with adventure, humor and heart, Hoppers is a fun family film.

Guests are encouraged to bring blankets or folding chairs. A blankets-only area will be identified on-site to ensure optimal viewing for all. Concessions will be available for purchase on site (cash only).
