The City of Charlottetown has released the 2021-2022 Annual Report, which highlights new initiatives, events and major projects from the past year, as well as a glimpse of the year ahead.
Highlights include:
- Major infrastructure investments, including a new net-zero facility and a pilot program to improve traffic flow;
- A look back at 2021 events and a look forward as the city prepares to host the 2023 Canada Winter Games;
- Charlottetown Police Service’s new Community Action Team and Community Wellness Team;
- Forward-thinking sustainability initiatives, including a flood risk assessment project, climate change adaptation strategies, and a home energy upgrade incentive program; and
- Improvements to parks and active spaces throughout the city.
