Citizen Recognition Awards Nomination Form

Mayor and Council invite the public to nominate deserving individuals who reside in the City of Charlottetown to be considered for one of the following awards:

Youth of the Year Award
This award aims to recognize and promote youth leadership, involvement, and contributions to the community through significant efforts or achievements. Consideration will be given to academic, athletic, cultural and economic achievements, and their contribution to the community.

Citizen of the Year
This recognition will be awarded to a deserving citizen, group, or organization who resides or is based in the City of Charlottetown and who has contributed, enhanced or has had a positive impact on the city's residents. The award recipient(s) will be presented their distinction at a ceremony during Natal Day weekend in August.

Forbes Kennedy Volunteer of the Year Award
Mayor and Council invite the public to nominate deserving individuals who reside in the City of Charlottetown to be considered for the award of Forbes Kennedy Volunteer of the Year. A volunteer is defined as someone who volunteers a significant amount of unpaid hours.

Nominations must be received by 4 p.m. on Monday, July 22.
