The annual PEI Pride Parade will take place in Charlottetown on Saturday, July 25, with an earlier start time of 10 a.m.
The parade will begin at the Provincial Government parking lot near Terry Fox Drive and travel along Euston Street, turning right onto Great George Street, Grafton Street, Pownal Street, before finishing with a left turn onto Fitzroy Street.
To accommodate the event, road closures will be in place along the parade route and at adjacent intersections starting at 8 a.m. Roads will reopen after the parade. No parking will be permitted along the parade route from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. A parade route map is attached for reference.

To reduce traffic congestion, residents are encouraged to walk, bike or take transit. A 15-minute bike radius (purple) and 15-minute walk radius (blue) map are attached to assist with planning.

Motorists should allow extra time when travelling through the city before, during and after the event. Vehicle access in and out of affected areas will be limited during the parade. Alternate route planning is recommended.
T3 Transit buses 1,2,3,7 and 23 will follow detour routes during the event. Detour maps are attached. All buses will return to normal service by noon.

A low-sensory viewing area will again be available at Rochford Square for individuals seeking a quieter parade experience. The viewing area will be on the Pownal Street side of the park.
Charlottetown Police Services, City crews and volunteers will be stationed throughout the parade route. Motorists who ignore road closures may be ticketed, and aggressive or non-compliant behaviour will not be tolerated.
