The City of Charlottetown is accepting nominations for the 2026 Arts and Culture Awards.

The awards, created by the Charlottetown Arts Advisory Board, are held biennially and honour those who contribute substantially to the city’s arts and culture sector.

Awards are presented in the following categories:
• Emerging Artist Award
• Artistic Excellence Award
• Lifetime Achievement Award
• Champion of the Arts
• Late Great Award

The recipients of each award will be announced at an awards ceremony in March 2026. An independent panel of past winners of the Arts and Culture Awards will select this year’s winners and recipients in each category, with the exception of the Late Great Award, will receive a cash prize of $2,000 and a unique hand-crafted award created by an Island artist.

The deadline to submit nominations is Wednesday, Feb. 4.
