Planning efforts for the 2027 Scotties Tournament of Hearts continue to move forward, with three Vice Chairs now named to support the event’s leadership team.

Nicole Phillips, Bruce Donaldson, and Heather Rossiter have been appointed as Vice Chairs and will work alongside Curling Canada, City of Charlottetown, Charlottetown Civic Centre Management Inc., and Curl PEI to help guide planning for the national championship, scheduled for Feb. 12-21, 2027, at the Eastlink Centre.

“The experience and expertise these Vice Chairs bring will be an important asset as planning continues,” said Mayor Philip Brown. “Momentum is building and excitement continues to grow as Charlottetown prepares to welcome the Scotties once again.”

Work is well underway with key event partners to build out the Host Organizing Committee.

Community members will have opportunities to get involved, with volunteer registration expected to open in the coming weeks. Details will be shared at www.curling.ca/volunteer.

“The Scotties Tournament of Hearts delivers meaningful benefits for Charlottetown, and having strong leadership in place is an important part of that,” said Councillor Terry Bernard, Chair of the Economic, Tourism, and Cultural Development Committee. “The event generates an estimated $6–8 million in economic impact and attracts national visitors and media attention during the winter tourism season.”

Ticket packages for the 2027 Scotties Tournament of Hearts are now on sale and can be purchased online at www.curling.ca/tickets, in person at the Eastlink Centre Box Office, or by phone at 902-629-6625.
