Kensington Road Closure Update

Location: Kensington Road between Beasley Avenue and Exhibition Drive
Duration: Friday, Oct. 16, until approximately Friday, Oct. 23
Traffic Impacts: Kensington Road between Beasley Avenue and Exhibition Drive will remain closed to traffic. Traffic control personnel and detour signage will be in place. Access to Exhibition Drive will be maintained for eastbound
traffic. Motorists travelling southbound on Kensington Road are asked to use
the detours in place to access Exhibition Drive. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes.
Details: Additional time is required to complete the installation of sanitary sewer lines as part of the Exhibition Drive Redevelopment Project. The work was originally expected to take one week; however, unforeseen water main breaks have caused delays, requiring the road closure to be extended. The City appreciates the public’s patience and understanding as crews work to complete the installation.
