The City of Charlottetown invites residents who have decorated the exterior of their home or property to register for the 2023 Holiday Home Decorating Contest. This annual contest is an opportunity to recognize residents that bring holiday cheer to their neighbourhood through lights, creative displays, and festive decorations.
Registration is now open and closes at
4 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 4, 2023.
Entries will be judged the week of Dec. 11 on the following criteria: use of natural materials, use of lighting, creativity, and overall design. All entries will also be considered for the Kid’s Choice category.

[email protected] or call (902) 566-5548. Only homes located within the Charlottetown city limits are eligible to participate.
The Charlottetown Christmas Festival is a product of Discover Charlottetown in partnership with the City of Charlottetown and runs from Nov. 24, 2023, to Jan. 2, 2024. Visit
