The City of Charlottetown Parks and Recreation Department is advising residents of several upcoming seasonal closures.
The Charlottetown pickleball courts at 199 Patterson Drive will close for the season effective
Thursday, Oct. 30. The City thanks all players for another great season and looks forward to welcoming them back in the spring.
All City sports fields will officially close for the season on
Friday, Oct. 31. These seasonal closures allow for important annual maintenance and ensure the fields are in optimal condition for reopening in the spring.
The Victoria Park active transportation lane will close for the season on
Monday, Nov. 3. Two-way vehicle traffic around the park will be restored, as per the Victoria Park Bylaw on seasonal use of this roadway. The active transportation lane will reopen in the spring. Motorists are reminded to share the road with other users, in accordance with the Highway Safety Act.
